ABOUT ME
My name is Victoria, and I go by Vika. I moved with my family from Russia to Israel in 1993. I've been drawing and painting ever since I can remember myself. In 2013 I've graduated with a B.A degree in Film Studies & Animation Production from Sapir College. Following my graduation, I moved to Tel Aviv and worked as a freelance animation designer for a boutique studio, while experimenting with a variety of plastic arts practices in my free time.
My drive to create art and engage with hands-on artistic practices led me to quit my job and embark on an exploratory journey with different artistic mediums, ideas, and material surfaces to work with. The realization that every single place, experience, and conversation, can spark the inspiration for a new creation, pushes me to observe people and situations differently and takes me out of my comfort zone into the unknown.
